CUTTERS ON THE MOVE

about the cutters

Welcome, welcome, welcome globe trotting plant eaters!

We have never been the kind of people to put ourselves out there, either individually or as a couple, but as we all know the pandemic has forced many of us to re-evaluate our views and more importantly the constraints we place on ourselves. And that is exactly how Adrian and I find ourselves here.

The catalyst for our change was a sweet and chatty travel blogger we met while sitting in a rooftop pool in Basel. After listening to her adventures we realised how drawn we were to the lifestyle, and how much we would regret not trying.

We are so exciting to embark on this new project, and we hope you’ll enjoy learning and making mistakes with us along the way.

Cutters on the Move: Travel bloggers taking the fear out of plant based travel

We met in early 2021 when the only option for a while was online dating. We connected over among other things our wish to travel, and within 6 weeks of meeting we took our first trip together to beautiful and characterful Chichester. We had such a great time exploring after being restricted for so long, and it was clear that we made great travel companions. Adrian is originally from Kent and still works in the area, whereas I have for a long time been based in Sussex. We’ve now both settle in 1066 country on the south coast of England.

Our plan is to travel as regularly as we can while still working full-time and making the most of our pretty generous leave entitlement. Our only priority is to explore new places, and so you can expect to hear about our far flung adventures as well as homestays and local day trips. In terms of long haul trips, we both have some bucket list destinations we’d both like to tick off – a California road trip for Adrian and Island hopping in Indonesia for me.

In the short-term, we intend to share as much as we can about the adventures we go on through this blog, but also hope to be able to provide some useful tips for building travel budgets, setting out itineraries, keep costs down, and how to make the most of your time away. Who knows where this will take us, but what we know is that we will have a grand time along the way!

We hope to see you somewhere sunny and gorgeous………
